Paser Technologies Hostile Takeover Battle with J. Maartinez and Co.

AP March 4, 1998- J. Maartinez and Co., infamous importers of Sumatran Luwak Coffee, has notified Paser Technologies of their intention to buy the troubled adhesives firm for an undisclosed amount of coffee futures.

"My idea is simple," said Mr. Maartinez, "if I can keep those beans inside there for an extra day or two, I can create an even more expensive spinoff. We already know people will pay 300 bucks an ounce for cat s***, so I'm going to ride the gravy train for as long as I can. And, it's a nothing down deal for me. I can't lose!"
