INTC problems are not a surprise when one considers all the PC box makers HWP, IBM, CPQ who are buying the competition's chips and advertising the fact. INTC said demand was lower from the OEMs which plainly means the manufacturers are buying the other chips. There has been no slowly down in PC demand, in fact today's report showed record PC consumption! The low end is where the blood is now and will be tomorrow. Dell has caused some of the pricing problem by the famous BTO model and their products are better priced, as several recent postings have pointed out, today and will be for the future. Anyone who does their research and compares the PC products out there, ends up buying DELL. PC demand is up and everywhere you look DELL is the best purchase in all respects.
