An interesting development is taking place overseas...one would think that the foreign markets would react very badly to the Intel announcement as a slowing US market hurts everyone...but

Nikkei after 2 hours...only down 1.1% (very average for Nikkei)
Taiwan after 1 hour...only down 0.85%
Korea after 1 1/2 hours...only down 2.33%

One thing...on GLOBEX...the Nasdaq 100 Index March futures are down 30 points...and since Intel makes up 15% of the NDX100 and MSFT makes up 22%...I don't think that the overall market will really collapse.

Generally things don't seem SOO bad

Tony,

When every one seems so pessimistic, the opposite could happen. It usually works this way.
