Should someone call IBM and tell them that their drive
will never catch on because it will suck all the power
out of whatever device to which it is attached? Oh wait,
I mean it will never catch on because it can't handle
moisture and dust and shock. Oh wait, it doesn't even
exist yet, I guess the "I" in IBM stands for Imaginary and
the BM you can figure out--maybe we can call it pfft!

fRock, how was that? Am I learning?

Seriously though, if the Giant MR head stuff comes down in price
and proves reliable and can be marketed blah blah blah, then I
expect IBM's pfft! would certainly be a threat to clik! if
it ends up fitting in the flash slot. Note the "if"
that article said "the pfft! is being designed" to fit the 5mm slot.
Note, too, that the article said "could carry as much as 400 Mbytes."
I don't think that pfft! exists yet, maybe on a bench somewhere, but
not at 5mm, and not at 400 Mbytes.

What's the feeling of IBM's marketing skills lately?
