If LGND is affected it should be short-term. It remains to be seen if INTC is a 'first-warning' of poor 1st qtr results from other companies (hard to believe Q198 just ended). Be prepared for the inevitable downgrades of INTC.

Actually, INTC had already been 'steering' analyts to lower expectations, so this 'warning' comes as a big suprise. I really don't think that this warning was expected.

I would have to disagree, an 11% drop in INTC in after hours is huge for INTC, although after-hours trades are many times misleading as to the open due to low volume.

Agreed. The market is so high right now, that I believe that this will be the reason everyone uses to sell.
