All,

Been scanning the tech threads tonight to see how people are reacting to what is going to be a Nasdaq bloodbath tomorrow (indications are it may sink 50+ points courtesy of INTC warning). Having a large position in APCO should greatly cushion the coming blow for those of us who didn't lighten up on tech in the last few days. February was a great month...much of it may melt away tomorrow. But APCO should be unaffected, or only to the extent there's a general sell off. We're very lucky to have positions in this stock, the more the better.

Phil

As a market maker in APCO I feel I'm pretty close to the stock. First of all it's been quite a run. I've been buying since $6 1/2 and didn't think $10 would get here so fast...I would of said last week if this company saw $10 SELL!!!!! But after the Allstate contract and todays Banc One contract I must take a further look. Technically the stock looks perfect....I disagree with the post saying the stock is overextended...a definite momentum play with a chance of a gapper in the morning.. I would not be surprised to see $10 1/2 to $11 a share tomorrow.

definitely no islands and that would be more risky at this juncture.

i did lower my reentry point to 8 and 5/8 - looking at several scenarios for the bollinger bands days of trading after upward piercing of the majority of these.

the only gap not filled was in april i believe.

also the price range now traded is nearly 30% above the average 18x multiple for this industry and that is at 1999 estimates.

needless to say a pull back is inorder not only from the way this stock has traded in the past but to ensure a more productive steady climb.

again this may not happen so must be prepared to jump on if this slight froth gets swallowed quickly.

the very best luck to all, and thanks dan
