Amigos, I've put the proposal to the P & F thread:

The Amigo thread is ready to tackle the Euro dollar problem with the
P & F thread if you and this thread are ready. We know very little about this issue having not researched it all as of yet. The Euro dollar
issue may be more profitable and complex than the Y2K problem.

The Mission:
In the near future, the nations comprising the European Common Market will be taking the first step towards a common currency. Trade between E.C. members will be conducted in Euro dollars, while
each individual nation continues to use their local currency. Companies will need to keep separate books, one in the local currency and another in the Euro currency. Businesses will have to calculate conversion rates with their local currency to the Euro currency and foreign currencies to both the Euro and their currency. Sounds like a complicated software problem. So what companies are offering software solutions in this area? Any companies with contracts? Are there any gems in this sector?

Jan, if you and this thread are interested, would you like to start a new thread and let's go to work.
