Just a thought of mine:

1. Intc has been in many people's long term portfolio for a while and most of the longs have significant cushions. In other words, many strong hands.

2. I think that Intc's stock has a relative large amount of foreign ownership and will continue attract foreign investors ( foreigners tend to buy big names.)

3. By and large, this is still a supply-driven market and I think the money flow will continue and will continue into tech. leaders such as Intc on a long-term perspective.

4. Both F/A and earning prospects will remain healthy for a long time. If Intc drops to around $65 area in the next couple of days, I would love to "buy" it.

P.s. Sorry, I know this is Asnd thread.

Even without Asia, I don't read an INTC shortfall as a comment on the vast demand for bandwidth.

That's true, and let's hope the Street knows it, too.
