i didn't realize that msft was/would threaten to pull their os license from dell and others if they offered netscape.Now i get it.

Do venture capitalists fund venture th attempt to challenge Sun in workstations? Ford in midsize family cars. Merck in their popular drugs. If not, are these companies EVIL empires as well? VC's favor the path of least resistance because they want to make money.
