Buck,
What they may do is liquidate small stocks to buy large techs at low prices. You never know what is going through an investors mind when a sector of the market becomes unstable.

I may sell some bonds, and buy more cpq and intc if the price is right. Remember, the loses were paper loses. That means my purchase price is still lower then the market price. My loses on IDX are real loses at this point. That means my purchase price is higher then the market price. A big difference in my mind. Although I don't think I will sell my 3500 shares at $9. Actually think this company has a future. Time will tell.
