Bob: I do not now, nor have I ever, owned UTEK. I content myself
with Brinker's divinations regarding the overall market. That being
said, I have heard Brinker mention, on at least one occasion, that
UTEK can be expected to blossom A.D 1999. This from an avowed
seer who holds Microsoft at an absurdly low cost basis and recog-
nized the merits of Intel in the early 1970's. Those examples alone,
together with Brinker's extraordinarily accurate and peerless public
predictions regarding the stock market since the 1980's, should be
enough to inspire ample confidence in this man's astonishing powers
of prognostication.

Re: A provocative and well-reasoned post!

I agree. Rillinois made some excellent points. Regarding where all BB's defenders are, perhaps we have come to accept that criticism is a health thing, especially if made in an objective, thoughtful manner. IMO, most posters on this thread seem capable of sorting out legitimate reason from pure hyperbole. We even can be amused by the ongoing chatter from Dipy, Truman, and Don Lane. (vbg) The occaisional wanderings of this thread are what makes it fun to read.
