Rite...I see this is your first day with SI, welcome. Were numbers 1 to 6 your thoughts or from the article? They basically reflect the thoughts I have put together from the clues we have had the past week or so. It is like when I was in high school, how many horsepower in that GTO did I really need? Do we really need a gazillion megahertz?

Rite,
I ain't about to sell any cmpq or intc! Think I will retire the INTL Jan $100 LEAPS I sold last week if the price is right. Will hold the Jan $85 puts I sold in Oct 97 right before the Asian Flu hit. Holding the July CPQ $30 puts I sold along with the $25 puts I bought for insurance. Think I might make a small profit on the April $27.5 calls. Never sold calls on the shares I own. I was tempted when the stock was around $35, but I did not like the option prices. I was also optimistic about the future price of cpq. Now I some what regret my being overly optomistic.

If the fools panic sell down to $25 in the next couple of days:

I hear the train a coming
It's coming around the bend
It's picking up compaq
They're loading up the bins
They're stealing all the stock
You ain't see nothing like it
Now the train a running down the track
It's running like the wind
Those guys ought to be in Foursome(?) Prison
For stealing all that stock
Who let the price get so low
I heard them holla "thak ya"
I know I heard u'm say
"Intel is our friend
don't be afraid"

John Cash eat your heart out! Buy at $25 and sell calls for $35 next week. Life is short take a chance!

Rite,

Tell them my man. Good job. I hope you have calmed some perturbed nerves. Good luck.
