Linda, do you know of a good attorney? Lets see, we have a Dr. (Sheila) on the thread, we must have a good lawyer. Will all the lawyers please raise your hands?

Linda, are you an attorney? Maybe we can really make out by winning an Intel class action suit.

Intel warning !!
Just a couple of comments about Intel's warning and Compaq's downgrade.

No one should be surprised that the CPU count has gone down.
We have all known that the prices are coming down on the CPU's. Heck most everyone has gone or is going to just in time inventory,
I can get all the parts that's needed to build a system in one days
notice.
The street won't understand this tomorrow.

Looks like Intel counts revenue when product ships.

Might get flames for this one but IMO Compaq is becoming the Packard Bell of yesterday putting out these tiny little proprietary
retail boxes that will be thrown away tomorrow.
Is it any wonder that the " White Box" brand is the most popular.

Will be looking for those blue light specials.

Linda -

That's right! Intel gave no warning beforehand that they were planning to issue an earnings warning. That is inexcusable. I'm calling my attorneys, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego.
