I can see investing in a "*new" company that is profitable now and very underpriced compared to its sisters and one that choses from a list of tool vendors that Im familiar with like TACX, who use the following tools for the right job.

Year 2000 Partnership Company Product Name Platform Inventory Estimate Analysis Code Modification Data Migration Testing
ADPAC SystemVision Mainframe X X X
Compuware Ass't EXPEDITOR Prods Mainframe, C/S X X X
ISOGON SoftAudit 2000/ Tictoc Mainframe X X
MicroFocus Revolve C/S X X X X
Millennium Dynamics Vantage Yr 2000 Mainframe X X X
Peritus Automate: 2000 C/S X X X
Prince Software Portal 2000 Mainframe X X X X X
Quintec Century Conversion Soft. Mainframe X X TACT removes the fear of Year 2000.

SEEC COBOL Analyst 2000 C/S X X X
TransCentury TransCentury 2000 Mainframe, C/S X
Viasoft Enterprise 2000 Mainframe X X X X
CRYSF

*=TACT has 15 years experience, 250 employees, and is only "new" in terms of our awareness here on the Silicon valley investor thread.

But to invest in ANOTHER tool company (opsy) in this case that says "Costs, of course, are still proportionally higher then revenues BUT as we ''ramp up''
for 98' management's estimate and goal is to do in excess of $40,000,000".

What a bunch of BULL! Good luck with this one. But hey as Monk always said, the pigs will fly too.
