RE: New Way to Increase IOM Shareholder Value.

I just read this over on the Yahoo IOM thread. HILARIOUS! (And for those who can't tell, this is a joke. I think...)

Subj: Stock for Zip swap

In order to increase shareholder value and move product at the same time, the Board of Directors of Iomega has approved a plan which will allow Iomega shareholders to exchange shares for Zip disks on a one-for-one basis.

This plan will function as a share buyback, thereby hopefully boosting shareholder value, without cost to the company. At
the same time, this will allow us to inflate the number of Zip disks and improve our Zip tie-ratio. Said Iomega CEO Kim Edwards,
"This innovative swap program will allow our shareholders to turn their stagnating stock into something of actual value. People
wondered why we had done nothing to boost the stock price since its recent fall, well now they now. Besides we're not shipping disks
like we used to."

Iomega's Zip swap is patterned after the successful Stock-for-Food program developed recently by Boston Chicken which allowed Boston Chicken shareholders to redeem a share of BOST for a chicken dinner, including cornbread and one side dish.
