Dear friends, I have bought Vivus stock since 2/97, bought it at 75, then I doubled on the way down to 65,stock keeping going down,sold some at 55, with loss, then bought it again at high,sold it again with loss. This happens a couple times !! The story is always the same,we will have a run with a good news,and the short will have to cover it. I have been waiting for this days..,but it never come. Its a dream !! Its a dream !! This week,as soon as I read the news about the law suit,thats it !!! I got out totally,sold at 11.750 ,with big loss again. Finish!! No more VIVUS !!! How much money did I loss with this sucker ?? 75,000,hart earning dollar . Its a heartbreaking stock.You could loss everything .Its a lot of emotional energy in this stock. Management doesn't really care for giving out the good news to the shareholders. Not even any informative news ! They really don't ! No interest at all !!! The PR department is incompetent, a big zero, they are sleeping,...hello... anybody there??? Sound familiar ?? Correct me if I am wrong. My dear friends, don't wait to long with this sucker!! Get out ,and invest your money somewhere else, buy a car,go for holiday,or give it to the poor. Don't get hurt until you bleed!! Hopefully, this warning will help some, to make up your mind easier. Colby, I admire you with your strong and persistent investment style, but please look and consider at the facts ,DOW is at 8500 level now. If the market up 100 points, VIVUS is always heading down. Good bye...!! Joe
