Do you really think that there could possibly be hidden agendas behind articles in Barrons or any other rag? Does Bob Pissant dislike the drillers on a fundamental basis or is there some other reason for his unrelenting negativism? Do analysts time their announcements of upgrades/downgrades, etc. so that their firm's clients get out/in at the most advantageous time? The deck is stacked out there against the small investor! I therefore understand your suspicions re: short interest.

I don't doubt that sometimes folks ae hyping for their own benefit, but mostly, it is just a matter of ignorance. After all, if they were so smart, they wouldn't have to meet Barron's deadline, would they. oN the other had, if people read what they have to say, believe them, and act accordingly, maybe they are the smart ones, and those of us who try to be logical and stright forward, the idiots..
