paul, intel may not even fall 10% tomorrow. instinet is horrible for gauging market sentiment. it may fall much less.

eps down 30-40%, yty, is implosion. my original comment was that intel didn't grow eps anymore. it isn't a growth stock. maybe the new paradigm is that "growth stock" means a stock that has price appreciation. its true meaning is a company that grows eps. intel isn't one right now and wasn't last q either.

if mu can trade in the $30s i wouldn't be surprised to see intel trade over $100 tomorrow. seriously. but that doesn't mean intel is a growth stock. their eps are still imploding. unless something changes they will continue to have eps growth problems. just like altr and xlnx.

so, can you defend comparing q3 eps to q4 eps to prove intel is growing? were you serious?

just read your recent response. you were serious. paul, you don't know what seasonal means, do you. you don't know why people gauge some companies year to year and not quarterly, do you? the yty is more meaningful - even if it doesn't say what you want it to say. that is a classic spin put on by a big time tout. it doesn't work, but nice try. some will believe you. just not the critical thinking "some." ;-)

so, have you done your christmas in march shopping yet? ;-)
