SGD expects 1Q loss - family trial postponed by court Can't figure for the life of me ;>) but SGD expects a revenue shortfall for 1Q which will bring a slight loss: biz.yahoo.com The trial was postponed by the court until April 1998 and SGD's prez said this about 1Q : " The decline in 1998 sales has occurred even though the Company's advertising expenditures are at a level similar to the first quarter of 1997. As a result, the Company expects a loss for the first quarter of 1998. However, a loss in the first quarter for the Company has occurred in the past and in no way precludes a profitable year. " Jim K.
