I think the piranhas are going to get fed tomorrow.

The only question I have yet to answer is how big is the animal that is jumping into the piranha tank.

Networking should be a good buy. Everyone has predicted that, except for some guy from Hong Kong, yesterday (he had the flu) and some guy last Friday/Saturday that did not leave details about some "news."

I think the mention of ASND and MRVC being purchased by someone like INTC will drive the prices up. This is an entirely emotional market.
The old rules don't really appear to be working. I think, if you look at the profiles, a lot of us baby boomers, who have more money than they know what to do with - turn to the markets (instead of state lotteries) because we think we know something about a particular product or industry. There are a lot of 40 somethings and 50 somethings out there, that until online trading became so easy, would have never considered getting into the market. Almost all of them have a computer at home. Those that do not have a computer at home, do not have the means to get into the markets.

Does that make any sense?

Jack

And I never have really been a cable fan... that is correct.
But I was looking into my crystal ball at how the technologies will evolve, and how long it takes the RBOCs to swap out all of the plant and network, and I came to the conclusion that for about the next 10 years, the cable guys would have the best bet at getting two way, high speed, digital "stuff" into our homes.
So, I will add a couple of cable companies' logos to my 8 by 10 color glossies tomorrow.
