what ARE industry pundits saying about the INTC announcement. is this "much ado about nothing" or something serious?

Rob Chaplinsky of H&Q says this is not such a big deal. Also, a few Taiwan companies and Seimens have come out and said their outlook remains robust -- DESPITE THE INTC ANNOUNCEMENT.

Rarebird: You finally made some comments on how intc news affecting
cube today which qualifies you as Ph.D in philosophy. As to the devaluation of currency in China, you need to understand the political structure there. The rate is pretty much controlled by the government.
I do not see it can happen before other Asian currencies recoupe.
I was in China in January. One bottle of Evan spring water in Beijing costed me $5.
