Eddy RE: Bio Rad and Keithley
"Does anybody know how big is the electronics/metrology part of Keithley and BioRad as a percentage of its total business ??"

I don't have the exact numbers, but here are my feelings:
Keithley - Their metrology division isn't too large, but the testing
equipment division, which services the semi/electronics indurstry,
is huge. This company probably rides along with the rest of the
IC industries cycles.
Bio Rad - Their metrology division is probably smaller than the medical instruments division. Therefore this stock may not follow
the IC industry cycles as heavily as Keithley.

I forgot to mention one other company: Thermawave. They, along
with Nanometrics and Rudolph Technology are one of the biggest in
thin film measurement systems. We have 2 of their OptiProbe systems
and love them. I don't know much else about them.
