Billie, Your order will be executed when the market opens and not before.

<<I put in an order at 4:30 in the afternoon and the after hour trading is showing 28.
The next morning the stock is at 26.
Will my order go thru at 28 or wait for open at 26?>>

It depends on the type of sell limit you put in. If you put in a market order you will be executed at the opening at whatever the bid is. If you put in a limit order your order won't be executed. If you put in a market limit your order will be executed at the bid. Try to cancel the order before the market opens if you don't want to sell at that price.
