On a different subject, did anybody notice that fonix changed auditors again? Just like last year, they are switching just as their annual report is due. Here's what they said last year:

<"The appointment of Deloitte & Touche is part of a long-term strategic plan for fonix corporation, and seems particularly appropriate as fonix advances toward the marketing of its patentable technologies and seeks to identify suitable strategic partners," said Studdert. "We were impressed with the Salt Lake City office of Deloitte & Touche, not only in the specific area of audits, but also in the firm's ability to provide strategic counseling as fonix transforms itself from a development-stage company to one that generates revenue," he said.>

Here's what they say this year:

<Arthur Andersen offers fonix a strong international staff with a depth of experience in reporting on Development Stage Companies. "We look forward to a long and mutually satisfying relationship with Andersen," said Mr. Rex.>

Three auditors in three years! I guess we're not going to see the 1997 10-K for a while.
