Tom,

I may be wrong here, but we had much worse conditions to deal with last March, Greenspan telling us he'd raise rates and good to his word, by the end of March he did it. We heard the normal warnings and I guess the fact that JBIL was going to report, kept it out of too much harm.

But I just happen to have some cash too for some buying.

For those thinking of jumping into the techs on today's weakness I'd think twice. INTC's warning this time is very different than previous warnings. They are seeing broad based decline in all product lines and in all geographies. We are seeing the beginnings of a paradigm shift in the tech industry away from faster processer speeds and towards greater bandwidth. JBIL will most likely suffer in the short term but long term, they are well positioned for the coming shift. We are in the earnings warning season (just beginning) and I expect if INTC is seeing weakness many others will be warning in the coming weeks. I'd wait a bit, you'll be able to pick up some great bargains in the near future. I have been buying puts on INTC, MU, DELL and AMAT in the past week.

Regards,
DOK
