"On the same page" to me means we do not have our wires crossed, each knows exactly what the other is trying to communicate.

Forecasting TICK readings at any point in time is difficult, the extreme reading you are suggesting may be hit and be 500 points lower 2 minutes later.

Although the recent range in TICK has been -500 to +400 I would say that under the circumstances today an extreme TICK reading would be anything greater than -1200. Each time that threshold is crossed it will be drawn backwards rather quickly. I would not expect it to be crossed more than 2 or 3 times at most.

As for predicting where the TRIN is at precisely 9:45 I would say it would be approaching normal levels. The extreme reading for the day will be at or near the open, perhaps 500 or greater. TRIN is always screwy near the open, as is PREM.
