Reason,

I don't know that I fit any of those scenarios you describe but I
do know how to ask questions of CEO's and being negative doesn't ever
work. The internet isn't the medium to ask questions of that type.
I suggest you call the company and hope you have not already burned
your bridges to the extent they are not willing to talk to you.

If that is of no avail, try email with some of the individuals on
the boards, you might be surprised.....
