what ARE industry pundits saying about the INTC announcement. is this "much ado about nothing" or something serious?

Rob Chaplinsky of H&Q says this is not such a big deal. Also, a few Taiwan companies and Seimens have come out and said their outlook remains robust -- DESPITE THE INTC ANNOUNCEMENT.

heard on the news something about an European investigation of cell phone charging
practices. This might explain the drop.

That makes sense. I could not see a connection to INTC.
