Hi,

If I buy a stock on margins, and then close the position before the end of the day, Datek does NOT charge me the 7% interest, is that correct?

Datek is too slow. Trades may just be 9.99, but when they don't execute your order until the shares are gone up 2-3 points you're quickly paying several thousind $$$'s for the trade...
