Yes, the cup and handle is intact. Let's review the data:

First, NXTL formed a triple bottom:
10/28/97 22
12/15/97 21.75
1/9/98 22.125

Then the higher lows:
1/15/98 23.4375
1/27/98 25
2/19/97 25.4375
Today 26.4375 (so far)

It's also important to note that 10/28/97 and today were panic selling days where the MMs spin their special form of magic (called "gouge the saps and get some cheap stock"). On 10/28/97 the MMs turned on a dime when the overall market turned and immediately jumped the bid a couple of bucks after artificially dropping it at the opening. Today was no different except the stock has not fully rebounded yet. It will but perhaps not today.
