FYI,Just got an odd alert from my quote service:

"The NYSE is not accepting stop orders"

Dunno if this is because they can't handle the stops due to volume, or if they are trying to avoid accelerating any drop.

Just thought I'd post this before people start yelling at Datek for not accepting NYSE stop orders.

schwab is getting much faster recently. Traded more than 20 time in last 3 days. Market orders filled in seconds. Last year, it was much slower.
