Wow! the new paradigm where books are the safe haven, not gold!!!!. Historians will write many books in the future about this one......perhaps a few years from now they will add a new chapter to the famous market book, " Extraordinary Popular Delusions and the Madness of Crowds". Right after the chapter about the tulip craze of 1700's will come the "book madness" of the 1990's............;^)

I've pointed-out this effect before - in these sharp declines/panics, money flows to strange places.

I think you have investors says "look, I invested in this company with a solid history and great prospects, and it's going to hell - maybe this time I just invest in JUNK!"
