Yeah, I have already heard the rationalization.

The spin is: This is just a shifting to the DELL model. Others are having to cut their inventory and increase their turns to compete. Should just be a blip while this adjustment takes place. -g-

Meanwhile, the increase in DELL market cap should more than offset any decrease in others. -ggg-

mike, someone was guaranteeing me that intel was a good buy today. i said that their eps were imploding and they didn't grow earnings anymore. he said it didn't matter because people buy stocks for "many different reasons." m-a-n-i-a ;-)
