You may be right, but I hope your not.

DELL indicated that PC demand was as strong as ever in their conference call and news. GTW indicated that PC sales in Jan. were robust. I think this is a problem with the other big boys.

The INTC situation seems to be a shortcoming from bottom-line chips from Cyrix and AMD into the sub-$1000 PC market. INTC has no chip for that right now, but one will be there in April. In addition, HWP, IBM, and CPQ are clearing house to try to be like MIKE, or DELL in this case. Not buying new chips and sub-$1000 chips are causing INTC to have problems right now. PC sales are unknown at this point, since the shortcoming does not really indicate that the sales are slowing. We'll find that out in about 6 weeks or sooner if warnings come out.

It seems clear to me, but you never know...
