Lisa,
The reversal in the oils services about two weeks ago was just a breather and was the same as a reversal in a stock. It didn't break bottoms just presented a good buying opp. It reversed at 40% which is still a low level. If the sector had reversed over the 60% level we would have been worried. Under 50% and we see it as a buy opp.
Oil services has since reversed back up and looks great. Oil and oils service is the buy. I've been talking endlessly over on the P&F thread that this is the time of year for oil and oil service wich conversely means it is a horrible time for airlines. Tom has been bullish on oil and oil service since the sector reversed at 22%. At that time, everyone thought I was crazy for stating it was time to buy the sector but everyone seems happy now.

I'm in and holding. Sector back up to 40%+. Things look great.

Jan

Dorsey sent a release out last night basically saying that you should hang on to your techs, but stay AWAY from the oil sector.

I was impressed with the P&F comments Jan made, but reserved judgement until we had a down draft. Now it appears as if they are backing off from being bullish. The next few months will tell whether or not this P&F stuff is full of crap or has some predictive value. My gut feeling is that it is jerking everyone's chains at the wrong time.
