James: First of all Intel's warning pertains only to Q1 from what I understand not the whole year. Kumar in his infinite wisdom didn't contradict Intel's projections for Q1 either, on the other hand he was talking about the year as whole.His point was that by middle of the year Intel should be back on track and next year looks even better according to him.He also said the current slump is mainly due to lackluster demand in Japan and not related to Asia Pacific as Intel's business is growing 10% in that region and this seems pretty good considering their current predicament in Southeast Asia.
