I want to add that Linux runs on a variety of platforms, not just X86. But it is not the Operating System for the masses. It is a good Server Platform for the masses. Jack PS: I just spent the whole day in a CSCO University workshop at the Inforum in Atlanta. I have a pretty good idea how their firewall products work now. They have introduced an IOS Firewall similar to ASNDs ASA. They failed to show performance comparisons, but they did mention Asnds ASA as well as Bay & COMS who use CHKPF.
