*AV* I love Bargains myself. Went long on ASYT calls and shares. Entry was better since "autopilot" got me in at $22 even. Also in the shopping cart were KLAC($40), ADPT($23), INTC($76), CYMI($19.5), PLAB($24), and an in/out of AEIS (In $14.50 and out at $15.50). Positions are nice sizes but definitely not overboard. Some has been left in reserve and others have been placed elsewhere.

My temporary disgust for the junk going on for the next few weeks (3-6 weeks) has convinced me to seek some safe havens. None of these are tech stocks and this is probably the first time you have seen me in print taking a somewhat defensive posture.

SAMC - Samsonite Luggage - $34
PWJ - Paine Webber $37.25
LIL - Long Island Lighting $31.5
KSE - Keyspan Energy $35.5

I love a bargain but this time around, I want reserves for another shoe to fall and I want to have stable stocks that may not move, pay a good dividend, have good charts and earnings, AND a chance to appreciate in an uncertain market.

No, I am not pulling out the Bearskin Rug, I am just taking some Tech run up reserves and putting them into more traditional places for the next tech run up.
