About P&F...Actually Jan, you posted a very bearish note to us and apologized for being the bearer of bad news during the recent downturn last month sometime. Then you generally stopped posting here until today. Before that time, you were encouraging all of us here to hang on and look forward to some excellent gains.

I looked back and spent some time trying to find your note, but I don't want to spend anymore time with it. Perhaps you could find it.

The problem with all this technical analysis is that it is very comforting when it appears to confirm what we want to believe. It also can jerk you in and out of the market so much that the only person who makes money is the broker. Your posts came at the right time last month and were sweet words to many here. People were crawling out of the woodwork to ask you questions. Then suddenly a bearish post and you were gone.

If you did indeed post on the P&F thread that it was time to buy again, you had a responsibility to do the same here since you were a such a major contributor for an intense period of time (assuring everyone of the sector's bullish trend). It does no good to tell us how the P&F stuff got Dorsey out before the October thing and back into sectors that were about to turn up. You need to tell US before the fact.

You wrote: >>I said the sector reversed and everyone should look at positions just incase the sector decided to move lower. Then the next day Tom and I came out with a big buy on the sector. I guess you don't read the P&F thread.<<

O.K., so you warned everyone to watch out in case the sector decided to move lower. Pretty cheesy I'd say. If it did move lower and we lost 20% in two hours, what would you have said then? Sell?

No, I don't have time to read all the threads I am interested in. However, you should take the time to post reversals in opinions to threads you have contributed to in the way you once did here.

Although I felt a bit of warmth with your bullish posts on this sector in the past, I invested because of the outstanding fundamentals...not technical charting.

Take this as an honest discussion, not as a personal flame against you.
