RE:"

For those of you technical analysts out there....what do you think of the
current chart pattern. Bill Griffith thought it looked like a head and
shoulders pattern forming? I'm not savvy enough technically to say, but
curious what the pattern does indicate. I've been long since July 73 and
will remain long, regardless."

That comment will fall on deaf ears here...or the typical Intel investors reply will be "TA has no predictive value"...or "what does head and shoulders have to do with the stock market"...

To answer your query, yes that possible H&S formation is a site to see!

Jim

Intel's chart sucks compared to say MSFT's chart. I really ought to have my head examined that I did not sell at $90 (Pigs get slaughtered!!!).
INTC is now essentially flat since May '97.
However, I will hang around to see if we violate $67 (the previous selloff low!). If we do, then its watch out below. If we dont and trade in the low 70s, say $71 etc.. then I may try again....

LJM - Re: "Micheal Murphy, who is editor of the California Technology Newsletter and... believes INTC will hit 120 by year end "

I heard that interview.

I think he is overly optimistic - with no ammunition in his gun.

As for his BioTech calls - I got my first introduction to Bio Tech from a seminar he gave. What a rude awakening!

He is way too optimistic and ignores the reality and risks associated with advanced drug development!
