John-

Are you sure 50% was the 0.25 yields? The article read like it was the 0.35 yields. Is 340 the die/wafer for 0.25 or 0.35?

Petz,
I see you respond selectivily to my posts. When you think you know something. Unfortunately as usual you are wrong. IDTI has not broken out their earnings per product, thus there is no way of knowing if IDT made any money on sales of $1M or so of the winchip.

Next time think before you post. He-he-he-he. Of course you can continue to amuse me he-he-he-he.

Besides you bought into IDTI when I told you AMDites to look into it. He-he-he-he keep the funnies coming he-he-he-he-

P,
Re -- AMD yields are at 50% for their 0.25 micron process.

It appears that you have lost the ability to read and comprehend. The article said close to 50% yields for the .35u. They haven't started production on the .25u yet, so there is no "solid" data on that yet.

futhermore if you think a little, maybe you'll realize that with close to 50% yields, and no demand for the 200 and 166Mhz parts (233Mhz in a month will be sold for 799), AMD's yields will be still less (because they will have to throw away the <200Mhz parts)
