Michael I disagree with much of this post. How have we failed in this department? In comparison to whom? VocalTech? Vocaltech is still selling their One and Only product that has generated any revenue for them, IPHONE, a Pc-To-Phone softare product. This is not a Phone-To-Phone gateway. That product was just recently announced, and to my knowledge, has not sold a single unit. Are you saying they failed as well? For that matter how many gateways has Vienna sold? Or Clarent? LU? CSCO? Array? or any of the others? Well unless I have missed a news release that you can direct me to, NONE of our competitors have had ANY significant Gateway sales. Does this mean that they have failed as well? Understand that this is a NEW technology for many of the companies who are evaluating it. To my understanding one of our Evaluators has shipped the four test units, to several locations in several countries to run their tests in all circumstances, that they will encounter in the field. Do you expect these companies to just throw down Millions of dollars and restructure their infrastructure without properly testing this equipment? Do you think that once all the tests are concluded there is no internal corporate red tape and procedures to make decisions? Sometimes it makes me wonder why people invest without understanding the nature of the industry, much less the company. Mike the last was not directed just at you but at a great many people who have posted recently. Do not let a few ignorant people make you feel that there is a deadline that FTEL must have sales by, or they are a failure. That is just ludicrous. Wait until one major company has purchased gateways before you start sayoing FTEL MUST sell some or fall behind. Who are we behind in Gateways sales? NO ONE. Lets talk about VOCLFs PR success, they are building industry attention. Someone has to in order for this entire sector to benefit. Someone on the Yahoo thread said that he did not want FTEL to attend CT Expo, since this is 'preaching to the converted'. Well what do you want FTEL to do try to spend capital and time trying to convert indiviual customers to IT or to sell their hardware to the Fortune 500 companies already looking at this industry. As the Brand New AD CAMPAIGN that FTEL has just Started states, It Aint Brain Surgeryhome.att.net
