Same here, freeus. I was in middle of unloading 50% of my mixed holding this week. I've planned to finish it by next Monday after DELL split. To have enough cash ready for end of March. Intel came too early. CPQ came early too.

If you ever find a formula that tells you when to be in cash
before a meltdown, I will pay you to be my broker!!! Right now
Compaq is killing me. I can stand the 4 or 5 point drops in Dell
but it is the slow and consistent drops that really hurts.

To all:

Who is staying with Compaq because they invested a lot in the stock
or has lost a lot and cant stand to sell??? If you are in one of the
above catergory (or both, like me), doesn't the recent trend make you
wonder whether this is prudent??
