This thread apparently has no tolerance for anyone who doesn't think Dell is the greatest thing since the first coming. Last I checked, this was a democracy.

Joe, I've read that kind of nonsense for years! Nobody buys a business for its book value (unless you're a complete idiot you wouldn't touch a company based on its discount from book value unless you had good reason to believe it would be liquidated). So I'll pose the question to you that I have posed to just about every bear on this thread: what is DELL's value, how did you arrive at it, and how did you factor in perceived growth prospects? Proof by blatant assertion doesn't cut it! Let's see some analysis rather than desk pounding!
