I can claim bragging rights as an owner of Elan for 10+ years and many $$$ of profit and still growing. I expect to hold lgnd at least 5.

Elan is very astute drug delivery company which acquired Athena in 96 or 97. They now have 2-3 seizure drugs on market some as controlled release forms.

If neurological disorders can be linked to hormonal disorders/changes then seems ligand technology may have a role to play. Outside of cancer and heart disease, there are no harder nuts to crack than the neurological ones; alzheimers, stroke damage etc. etc. Would be nice to hear what Lgnd might offer at least theoretically in some of these unmet areas

Henry:

I saw a notice that Ligand will be exhibiting at an NASDAQ investor forum in Phoenix on Sunday. Are they getting more aggressive?
