Take a few steps back and get the big picture.Cpu's are becoming
commodity components.....at least for the consumer market.Intel's
offering is not much better than amd's or cyrix or idt's.The
parts are now being farmed out to foundaries like tsmc....
look for asp's of around 25 bucks for 300mhz cpu's.This means
there will be no winners.....kind of like the disk drive business
or dram for that matter.Intel can still make a buck at the high
end with it's new slot 2 arch.....also there may be some money
in the system on a chip approach but at any rate it is a new
game with way different rules so do not get caught playing
by the old rules.....an x86 clone is not a license to print
money....
