i posted two weeks ago predicting a huge decline in Intel to the 40s within six months due to the fact that it has formed a huge H&S TOP pattern, which rarely ever fails. So I'm warning you now, if you must be invested in Intel, do not do it on the long side of things, because you will get hurt, when this thing hits the 40s. the fun has only just begun, though of course the rest of the decline will not occur this rapidly.

Would you care to educate us on H&S TOP pattern? How good is this indicator?

Mitsubishi, SGS to Make 64Mb Multi-level Flash Memories
March 5, 1998 (TOKYO) -- Mitsubishi Electric Corp. of Japan and SGS Thomson
Microelectronics, an Italian-French joint venture, said they reached an agreement to jointly
develop 64Mb flash memory microchips using multi-level technology.
Such multi-level technology is a method for storing more than 2 bits in a single memory cell,
they said.

The agreement comprises the following four items:

(1) joint development of flash memory microchips featuring both NOR and divided bit-line
NOR (DINOR), stemming from NOR and allowing lower supply voltage;

(2) joint marketing of the products to establish a mutual strategy for the flash memory
business;

(3) development of 0.25-micron design-rule microchips, and 0.18- micron design-rule
microchips; and

(4) both companies will start mass production in 1999.

Mitsubishi Electric has developed AND-type 64Mb flash memory microchips jointly with
Hitachi Ltd.

The company said it will find the right niche markets for both products. The microchips
developed jointly with Hitachi will be used for serial access that is suitable for data
accumulation; and the new ones to be developed jointly with SGS Thomson Microelectronics
will be used for random access applications.

Mitsubishi also is working together with Hitachi to develop 256Mb flash memory microchips
utilizing the multi-level technology.
