OSX at 109.70. Much of the sell-off is due to nervousness over employment report tomorrow. If we get a strong number, watch out.

Thean, As you might remember I am not long right now (I wish I were) but, I am trying to prepare for a scenario that will allow me 6 months to accumulate some shares in this sector. However, as much as we might not like to admit it ,Crude prices and our share prices for drillers have in fact been correlated. So , here is a guy who follows crude markets closer than I and he is looking for some ugliness in the crude market. Subject: Re: netbacks Date: Wed, Mar 4, 1998 20:29 EST From: Empire7 Message-id: <19980305012901.UAA01018@ladder03.news.aol.com> i was out with many traders and majors over the past two weeks and the attitude seems to go like this. opec will do nothing until oil hits $12 and by then there will be enough momentum and "puking" going on that oil will hit $10. based on inventories i see no reason why oil should go much lower than $14 for an average, but it can spike as i have said in the past. $10 oil would be the buy of the millenium !! i just wish i had a few billion so i could make a "proper" investment. So, what do you think? HH
