Spurious,
The net effect of that article is that the author is confused. That is what I meant when I said you'all need to learn to read. If AMD has 1000 wafer starts at Fab 25, where are the 266's?

Also ask yourselves this, where are the 300Mhz, I haven't read Tom's hardware page lately, but there is no mention about 300Mhz.

Does the K6 stop out at 266? If so the story will be over for AMD in Q3 98.

Kevin, the post I just made, independent of yours, duplicates your thoughts exactly, but, unfortunately Intela-brains ain't.

Kevin - Re: ", the company was able to isolate, and
fix, one of the major manufacturing flaws with the K6. Last
fall, yields on some K6 processors were as low as 20
percent,"

This guy says "one of the major manufacturing flaws with the K6..

One of the major...

They only fixed one of the major manufacturing flaws?

They have more unfixed major manufacturing flaws"

Really, now - does this make any common sense at all?
