s. bateh, You posts about the supply channel are well appreciated
and I wish you would stop being so apologetic about the news
which is good. I know there is some recent concern about being too
enthusiastic, but there is nothing wrong with healthy optimism.
Please go back to being yourself.

I would venture IOM is doing better profitwise than our famous
bull rider Rockhead Reid who pre-announced today, with some
satisfaction, that he had managed to cover his stupid short of
AOL today and rescued a gross profit of $5. I guess he will be able
to eat this weekend or maybe buy a new outfit for his next bull ride.
If he can trade his useless Zip and Clik disk togs for some solid IOM
certificates, he can sew them together and make some new clothes.
That way he need not freeze when he sleeps under the bull after
NYSE hours.

Regards, David S.
Long on Intel, Iomega, and Neomagic

By the way a buyout of NMGC is rumored.

s. bateh,

Can I call you s? =)

<<From what i have been told.....you will see a huge amount of jaz2 in the retail channel in the next week or so....>>

Don't forget that we only have 3 weeks left in the quarter. Even if Jaz2 is shipping at full production volume, that's only 23% of the quarter.

Also, analysts probably have factored in some Jaz2 sales, since it was expected earlier in the quarter.
